Head Coach

Kelly Cobb will begin her first season as Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Central Christian College of the Bible in 2024. CCCB will be relaunching its women's volleyball program after an eight-year break from the sport, starting with the 2024 season.

Cobb comes to Central Christian after two seasons as the assistant volleyball coach at Hallsville High School in Hallsville, Mo. A native of Hallsville, Cobb started her volleyball playing career as the Indians' setter from 2011-14. She currently ranks fourth in career assists for the program.

Cobb went on to attend Drury University in Springfield, where she was an undergraduate assistant for the volleyball program under Coach Jenifer Bahner-Hill from 2014-16. Cobb graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from William Woods University in Fulton, in 2017 and currently works at Veterans United Home Loans in Columbia.

Kelly's parents both attended CCCB, while her father, Russell, graduated in 1988 and later served as the head men's basketball coach from 1991-97.

“I’m super excited to get this program rolling again," Cobb said. "My mom and dad met here back in the 80s, where my mom played on the volleyball team. My dad played basketball and ended up coming back to coach here. I’m looking forward to starting some great traditions here at Central and laying the foundation for the future girls who come here! Being able to give more girls an opportunity to play at the next level is something that’s really special.”
