Women's Basketball's Todd named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week

Freshman guard Kelsey Todd was named Women's Basketball Division II Student-Athlete of the Week by the National Christian College Athletic Association for her performances during the previous week.

The Plato, Mo., native averaged 20.3 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.3 assists through three games as the Saints went 2-1 on the week that included wins over Union College (Neb.) and Providence University College. Todd had 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in a 42-33 win over Union. She then had a career-high of 24 points in back-to-back games – in a 75-65 win against Providence University College and a 60-59 loss to Ecclesia College.

The Saints sit at 3-3 entering the Faith Classic in Ankeny, Iowa, where they will take on North Central University at 1 p.m. on Friday and Trinity Bible College on Saturday at 12 p.m.
