Saints unable to overcome KCC's blistering first half shooting

A 12-for-17 first half from beyond the arc by Kansas Christian was too much to overcome as Central Christian College of the Bible suffered a 92-75 setback to the visiting Falcons on Friday night at the Ferneau Center.

The Falcons entered the game shooting just 29 percent from 3-point range on the season, but the 70 percent outing in the first half was the difference as the guests raced out to a 57-34 advantage at the break.

  • Central Christian trailed just 16-14 with 13:55 left to play when KCC used a 29-8 run to take control.
  • KCC's 12-for-17 3-point performance in the first half was fueled by Rae'Quan Frazier, who was 6-for-8 from deep.
  • The Saints trailed by as many as 29 midway through the second half, but chipped away at the deficit to close out the game.
  • The Falcons were just 1-for-7 from 3-point range in the second half.
