Saints set to host 2022 MCCC Basketball Tournament

With the regular season in the books, Central Christian College of the Bible is the host of the 2022 Midwest Christian College Conference Basketball Tournament, which gets underway on Thursday, Feb. 17 and concludes with the championship games on Saturday, Feb. 19.

The tournament will feature seven women's and seven men's teams playing six games per day for a total of 18 games in three days.

On the women's side, Central Christian is the No. 6 seed and kicks off the tournament against No. 3 seed Emmaus Bible College at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The CCCB women finished the season 7-15 overall and 3-9 in the MCCC after a 58-40 win over Faith Baptist Bible College last Friday and a 72-32 loss to Emmaus Bible on Saturday.

The CCCB men are the No. 4 seed after a 13-12 record during the regular season and a 6-6 mark in MCCC play. The Saints play the final game on the first day of the tournament against No. 5 seed Faith Baptist Bible College at 8 p.m. Last Friday, the CCCB men topped Faith Baptist Bible, 76-62.
