Saints add Jacob Case for 2017-18 season

Moberly, Mo.

Central Christian College of the Bible head men's basketball coach Jack Defreitas on Tuesday announced the signing of Jacob Case for the 2017-18 season. Case is the first member of the Saints' 2017 class.

Case, a 6-0 guard from McComb High School in McComb, Ohio, is currently a senior and will graduate in May. The two-year letterman for the Panthers became a full-time starter this past season, averaging 7.5 points and shooting 39 percent from behind the arc.

Case helped the Panthers to a 14-11 record and a sectional title as a junior. As a senior, he earned a spot on the all-Blanchard Valley Conference team as an honorable mention selection.

"Jacob is a great kid who comes from a great family," Defreitas said. "He loves the game of basketball and has that strong work ethic that, as a coach, you want to see in all of your players. He is quick and shoots the basketball well from the outside. Jacob is a great fit for our program, and I am excited to have him joining us."

While at CCCB, Case plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science in General Ministry.
