Saints add Hayti's Kedron Rollings

Moberly, Mo.

Central Christian College of the Bible head men's basketball coach Jack Defreitas on Friday announced the signing of Kedron Rollings for the 2017-18 season. Rollings is the fourth member of the Saints' 2017 class.

Rollings, a 5-10 point guard, is a 2017 graduate from Hayti High School in Hayti, Mo. The four-year letterman and three-year starter for the Indians averaged 17 points, six assists and three steals per game, while also helping his team to a Class 2 District 1 championship in February.

Last week Rollings and three teammates took fifth in the 4x100 relay at the state track and field meet held in Jefferson City.

"Kedron is an outstanding talent and a hard worker," Defreitas said. "He excels in the classroom, leads his teammates, and is a fierce competitor on the court. Everyone raves about him as a person. I am thrilled to add a player of his caliber and character, and to watch him continue to grow in our program."

Rollings was a three-time All-Bootheel Conference selection and earned all-district honors the past two seasons. He scored over 1,000 points and, as a first-year starter in 2014-15, helped the Indians to a 20-6 finish.

While at CCCB, Rollings plans to pursue a Bachelor of Religious Studies and a dual enrollment degree from a partner institution.

Rollings joins Jacob Case of McComb, Ohio, Micah Miller of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Alex Gibler of Madison, Mo., as members of the Saints' 2017 recruiting class.
