Recap: Men's Basketball claims another sweep, moves into tie for first in MCCC
The Saints got dominant performances from two different players on two different nights as they picked up another weekend sweep in conference play and moved into a tie for first place in the Midwest Christian College Conference standings.
Central Christian got a game-high 32 points from Quian Henderson on Friday in the Saints' 93-69 win over Calvary University. On Saturday, the CCCB men celebrated Senior Day as their lone senior, Trey Palmer, poured in a game-high 25 points en route to reach 1,000 career points in a 89-71 victory over Ozark Christian College.

- Central Christian used a 21-0 run midway through the first half and led by 26, its largest lead of the night.
- The Saints had 11 steals and forced 18 turnovers from the Warriors.
- The Saints' defense was stingy as Calvary shot just 35 percent for the game and 17 percent from 3.

- Central Christian got out to a solid start as the led by 13 midway through the first half.
- The Saints shot 41 percent (13-for-32) from 3-point land.
- The CCCB defense was stingy for the second straight night as the Ambassadors shot just 33 percent from the field and 26 percent from 3-point range.
- Palmer scored 18 points in the first half and finished the weekend with 44 points scored for a current total of 1,001 in his career.
- Five Saints reached double figures and a sixth was one point shy

The Saints will play their final home game of the season on Tuesday night against top-ranked Spurgeon College in a Central Region matchup. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
On Friday night, CCCB travels to Manhattan Christian College to face the fifth-ranked Thunder. The Saints and Thunder currently sit in a two-way tie for first in the MCCC heading into the final weekend of conference play.
