Calvary Lutheran's Haley Braun signs with Saints

Haley Braun signed her letter of intent on Thursday afternoon at Calvary Lutheran High School.

Central Christian College of the Bible head women's basketball coach Meagan Henson on Monday announced the signing of Haley Braun for the 2019-20 season. 

Braun, a 5-10 power forward from Calvary Lutheran High School in Jefferson City, Missouri, is currently a senior and will graduate in May. The four-year starter for the Lions averaged 11.9 points and 9.5 rebounds per game as a senior.

Braun was named the Cooper County Athletic Association Co-Most Valuable Player in 2019. She also won the award as a junior after helping the Lions to a 16-8 mark and a conference title. Additionally, she was a two-time Class 2 all-district selection. 

"We are thrilled to have Haley Braun join our program," Henson said. "She is gifted athletically and possesses the work ethic needed to be successful at the next level. Haley displays exceptional character and will be a great leader on our team and on our campus."

While at CCCB, Braun plans to pursue an Bachelor of Religious Studies and a dual-enrollment degree in Criminal Justice from a partner institution.
