Saints add Calvary Lutheran's Caleb Blehm

Central Christian College of the Bible head men's basketball coach Jack Defreitas on Tuesday announced the signing of Caleb Blehm for the 2019-20 season. 

Blehm, a 6-0 shooting guard from Calvary Lutheran High School in Jefferson City, Mo., is currently a senior and will graduate in May. The first-year starter for the Lions averaged 10 points, four assists, and three rebounds per game in his only season with the program.

Blehm earned Cooper County Athletic Association honorable mention honors after helping the Lions to a 9-14 mark in 2018-19. He led the team in 3-point field goal percentage at 36 percent.

"Caleb is already a good shooter, but will come in and work hard to improve other areas of his game," Defreitas said. "He loves the game of basketball and will be a positive addition to our locker room. We are excited to have Caleb joining us."

While at CCCB, Blehm plans to pursue an Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.
